Meet Your Hosts: Manuel & Yvette

Welcome! We are a travel-loving couple born in the 1960s who find deep joy in exploring the world, experiencing new cultures, and learning languages. Between the two of us, we speak Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese — and we are always eager to pick up a few more words!

Our roots span across beautiful borders. Manuel grew up just down the coast in Ensenada, Baja California, before moving to California in 1992. He is a proud alumnus of both Tec de Monterrey and Stanford University. Yvette is of Salvadoran heritage, grew up in Los Angeles, and is a proud USC Trojan.

We bought this penthouse as our dream retirement sanctuary. Because we still love to travel, we wanted to open our doors to special guests like you, allowing you to experience the magic of the Baja coast whenever we are away. As respectful, non-smoking hosts, we take great pride in providing a pristine, welcoming space for your next getaway.
